Dr Sheetal Soni is a law academic at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where she lectures Bioethics, International Law and Intellectual Property Law. She holds LLB, LLM and PhD degrees and is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Her research expertise is in genomics and the law and ethics related to reproduction. She has worked with biotech companies and regulatory bodies and is currently researching in the field of AI regulation and genomics.
