Kruakae is Visiting Senior Researcher (Education) at the Ada Lovelace Institute. Her current research focuses on AI in education, education data, and child-centred design of digital services.

Kruakae is also a visiting research fellow in the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her broader research intersects technologies, policies and society, spanning the areas of human-computer interaction, digital ethics, data protection, internet and other related policies. She specialises in designing social-technical research, using deliberative methods to elicit human values and expectations of technological advances, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), AI and distributed ledgers.
