Cristina was a Researcher at the Ada Lovelace Institute until June 2025. She focused on EU public policy, specifically on EU and international governance and regulation proposals and AI accountability and risk management.

Cristina has a background in political science and AI Ethics and completed an MSt in AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Ada, she was a Senior Researcher at the Digital Regulators Cooperation Forum, where she led a research project on the AI assurance market. Her research interests include AI standards, AI assurance, AI procurement and infusing meaningful public engagement in AI governance mechanisms.
