Meelina was Communications and Engagement Intern at the Ada Lovelace Institute. She has a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Birmingham.

Meelina has been published in The Times, The Guardian and Fashion Roundtable. She has spoken at events held by Ernst & Young and The British Library focusing on the intersections between race, gender and disability.
